Dear Friends and Neighbors:

The last ten years that I have served as your County Legislator have been the most exciting and rewarding of my life. Together we have achieved some truly noteworthy accomplishments.

We saved untold lives with the landmark ban on the use of hand-held cell phones while driving and the prohibition on the sale of the deadly dietary supplement ephedra. We protected our families with groundbreaking laws that prevent sex offenders from living or loitering near places where children gather. We protected the environment by reducing the use of chemical pesticides, preserving open space in our district and promoting the use of clean, renewable energy. And we're just getting started!

I am very proud of my long list of legislative accomplishments and am equally excited by the challenges ahead. Most importantly, however, I look forward to continuing to respond to your daily needs as my constituents.
