Help Haiti!
Legislator Cooper Has Teamed Up with the Long Island Coalition for Haiti’s Relief to Collect Much-Needed Supplies for Haiti Quake Victims
Huntington, NY- The Long Island Coalition for Haiti’s Relief is a collaboration of faith-based organizations, local not-for-profit organizations, and elected officials throughout Suffolk County. The coalition has created an initiative to assist survivors of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday, January 12.
In an effort to address the most immediate needs of the survivors, the coalition is seeking the public’s help in collecting specific medical supplies in addition to monetary donations to purchase medical supplies not received. Legislator Jon Cooper’s district office has been designated as a drop-off location for these much-needed supplies. If you are interested in donating, please contact Legislator Cooper’s office at (631) 854-4500. Below is a list of suggested items that are desperately needed:
