Legislator Jon Cooper visited the Lloyd Harbor Elementary School to meet with the second grade students in Kristen Sewell’s and Maureen Lunny-Ryan’s classes. The youngsters offered their ideas for bills that they would like to see introduced. One of these proposals (to outlaw the sale of candy cigarettes) was debated by the children and voted on at the end of the class. The "legislation" was approved by an overwhelming margin!
