Legislator Jon Cooper joined other elected and public officials from the Town of Huntington at the installation of Phase I of the All-America City Walkway in front of the headquarters of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce. The brick walkway commemorates Huntington’s designation in 2002 as an All-America City by the National Civic League. This is the first time in almost 50 years that any Long Island community has made it to the finals in the nation’s oldest and most prestigious civic recognition program.
