Legislator Jon Cooper spoke before a packed community meeting at Huntington Town Hall where he expressed vigorous opposition to the MTA’s proposal to build a 24-hour, 16-track railroad maintenance and storage facility in a residential neighborhood in Huntington Station. He called upon the MTA to find a more appropriate location that is away from residential areas where our families and seniors live.
