Legislator Jon Cooper joined County Executive Steve Levy at a press conference where he announced plans to sue the federal Environmental Protection Agency if the EPA proceeds with its proposal to dump dredge spoils in the Long Island Sound. The designation of these two long-term dredge disposal sites would pose a threat to our environment and the economy of Long Island.
