Legislator Jon Cooper joined County Executive Steve Levy and members of Suffolk County’s Campaign Finance Board to announce the implementation of their new electronic filing program. Thanks to a bill sponsored in late 2002 by Legislator Cooper, Suffolk is the first county in the nation to require candidates for county office to electronically file data regarding their campaign contributions and expenditures.
