Legislator Jon Cooper served as one of three judges in the annual Best Tasting Long Island Tap Water Contest, which was held at Farmingdale State University of New York. Greenlawn Water District defeated Plainview Water District and took the title of Long Island’s best tasting tap water for 2004. Celebrating the win were (left to right) Greenlawn Water District Commissioners James Logan and John McLaughlin, Legislator Cooper, Greenlawn Water District Commissioner William Wieck and Greenlawn Water District Superintendent Robert Santoriello.
