Legislator Cooper participated in a public forum hosted by Long Island Citizens Action Network regarding the proposal by Broadwater Energy to construct a liquefied natural gas facility in the middle of the Long Island Sound. The event was held at the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington. Joining in the panel discussion were Adrienne Esposito of Citizens Campaign for the Environment and Gordian Raacke, Executive Director of Renewable Energy Long Island.
